CAMOLA USB MIDI Host Box - USB to MIDI Converter & MIDI Interface for Music Production, Live Performance & Studio Recording

Have needed something like this for years and somehow I never have even considered these existed .My studio has many older synths and midi wotsits and do das which means I have always leaned towards midi controllers that have a physical 5 pin out and in ….Nowadays a lot of cool controllers have neglected the 5 pin and just use a usb connection …which has influenced my decision on which ones I use .This box here though opens up many more options .I can even use it with my panorama P1 !This works great for linking two keyboards together and only playing one but getting the sounds from both keyboards.I have lots of older midi sound modules and midi keyboard. Newer keyboard, Yamaha p125 and most newer midi devices have only usb. This adapter did the trick. Only real issue was to signal the Yamaha to output to the USB port.This unit works perfectly. I already own the Midiplus model and it was defective. Almost lost my faith in the USB Midi interface idea, but this works great, never misses, no sticking notes, fast. One point though, you must power it with the adapter cable first, then power the controller keyboard, and finally power the unit you wish to control.The device works perfectly as advertised. I'm new to MIDI and I thought this device would merge two MIDI signals. That's not the design. The customer service responded quickly to my emails as we went back and forth. They soon discovered I was expecting the MIDI IN to go to the MIDI OUT. Apparently, the MIDI IN goes back to the USB HOST, not the MIDI OUT.Well built unit. I used this to connect a USB midi keyboard (with no standard midi ports) to a standard midi synth. It worked as expected - no surprises.Quality and performance, ease of use, dependable. Convert usb midi information into 5 pin din output to control piano/keyboard setup.Hard to use. No clear instructions!This little beauty allowed me to connect my Casio PX-150 to my Korg T-Rack and Roland JV-1010 to utilize 100’s more sounds for my recordings, couldn’t be happier and neither could my keyboard player friends!Highly recommend this for old sound module connectionEccellenteSur mon k1 yamaha ne marche pas aucun son je vais l’essayer avec un autre module et je vais voir s’il marche ou pas
