As far as prep books go, this one is pretty good. While it has its issues (and even the occasional error), this book is excellent preparation for the AP Spanish Language Exam.The book's biggest asset is its size. There are literally dozens of practice selections for the listening and reading portions of the exam, each with detailed explanations of the correct answers. For the audio selections, a transcript is always provided. When it comes to the writing and speaking portions of the exam, the book provides dozens of prompts, as well as sample responses with explanations. Then, to top it all off, the book includes four full-length practice exams. While it may be overkill to do all of the exercises and exams provided in this book, it's worth knowing that you won't run out of questions to practice answering.In addition to the massive number of practice exercises and exams, the book contains a pretty nice grammar review and vocabulary list that's worth reviewing quickly (though not focusing on, as the exam never directly assesses grammar).In general, I found the exercises in this book to be slightly easier than the actual AP test, but not significantly enough to make them a waste of time. The book does a great job presenting possible strategies for success, and the answer explanations help explain not only the correct answers, but also the processes used to arrive at those answers. After doing several practice exercises, you'll begin to internalize those processes and improve.Basically, this book provides a ton of practice exercises and exams of pretty decent quality with excellent answer explanations and advice. I highly recommend this book (especially over Princeton Review, the other AP Spanish prep book I bought).
